Chenega Applied Solutions and Chenega Systems traveled to Robins Air Force Base in Georgia to kick-off the grand opening of Project Synergy on March 18th, 2021.
Project Synergy is a brand new state-of-the-art software factory established by the 402d Software Engineering Group to address the growing software needs within the Air Force. Lt. Gen. Kirkland, Brig. Gen. Hammerstedt, representatives of the House of Representatives, local mayors, members of the media, and many others, were in attendance and witnessed the next step in the USAF’s journey towards full-scale modernization.
The opening of Project Synergy is a big win for Chenega’s Modernization as a Service (MaaS). MaaS is a single turn-key solution that provides holistic services encompassing all aspects of the modernization process, from tools and technologies, to environments, methodologies, culture, and vision.
When asked about Project Synergy’s kick-off event, Mike Masten, CAS VP of Operations, had this to say “This was the first time that many of the men and women who will be operating out of the facility got to walk its halls and check it out. The excitement was palpable!” Masten continued, “Chenega is incredibly proud to be partners with the 402d Software Engineering Group – Robins AFB in providing this state-of-the-art facility. Great things will take place here. THIS is what the future of the Air Force looks like. Stay agile, my friends!”
“Ending a very exciting week for us. The grand opening of Project Synergy was a huge success in no small part to our amazing Chenega team. They are the “service” in our “Modernization as a Service” offering. With MaaS, our work doesn’t stop once the facility is built but continues after to ensure all the tools, networks, and services continue to be provided to support our customers,” said Masten.
